Misty and Raw

This morning it isn't too cold - it's above freezing - but there's a sharp wind from the east, with drizzle and mist. We're supposed to get some rain this afternoon into tonight. The footing is much improved for the moment, which the horses and I are both pleased with.

I've been thinking a lot about how to change habits, in myself and horses, and if you're interested there are some thoughts in this post.

Have an excellent late-January day!

  1. Stay warm ,and safe , drizzle does not sound great ,watch your footing

  2. Brrrr - and I complain if we have to deal with mud!

Enjoyed my visit to your blog!

  3. Winter is proving quite fickle this year. We're having a bout of nice weather here again, with rain predicted for tomorrow and Monday.

Here's hoping your warmer trend gets rid of the ice under your snow--and the snow too for a while. It would be nice for you to have some decent footing for a bit.

It is such a relief to have a bit of good weather this time of year.

Changing habits is a challenge. I find myself always battling that. But I know I can do it with first, an analysis of why, and then a remedial program. I'll look over your thoughts and comment.

  4. I guess it would be mean of me to tell you it was 65 and gorgeous here today. :) To make you feel better rain is coming tonight.

  5.! Ugg.
I truly enjoyed your post on changing habits.
