Here's a photo of my sweet Maisie napping in the sun down in Tennessee - she's pretty relaxed (note the drooping bottom lip) - thanks to Melissa at Paradigm Farms - and thanks to her and Jason for taking such good care of my three retired ones who live with them.
When I see pictures like this, it makes me miss Maisie, Lily and Norman, but I feel good that they're safe and happy.
Very nice. She does look relaxed.

Contentment, thy name is Maisie. What a lucky girl.
ReplyDeleteI wish the picture was sharper. I zoomed in instead of getting closer to her because I didn't want to disturb her so I ended up with a grainy picture. She was soooo relaxed! She actually ended up fully asleep down in "dead horse" position a few minutes after I took that picture.
ReplyDeleteNice picture. There's nothing cuter than a relaxed horse taking a rest in the paddock.
ReplyDeleteAwww, Maisie looks wonderful, all fluffed up in the sun :)
ReplyDeleteso sweet! mine stayed out last night and when i came out to feed in the morning my nate was all curled up sleeping. don't know why i just love the sight of a happy sleeping horse :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, Miss Maisie is such a cute one. I love that when they are curled up like little puppies. How lucky are you to have such a safe, loving environment for their retirement?
ReplyDeleteOh, this makes me happy too!
