Here's a lovely post from Katariina at Equine Insanity that you might enjoy on a February Saturday.  I'd describe the post as about our emotions and those of our equine partners and how those interact.  The post is also about the fears many of us have.

  1. Thanks Kate, for the link. What a post. What a blog. Wow. I feel a kinship there. Thanks!

  2. Kate, Katarina's post resonated with me deeply. But this is why you are the Zen master of horse blogging: it didn't occur to me to write a post about it and link to it, as you did. I also love her other blog about Little Love as well.

  3. One of the best things about being a blog follower is finding new blogs. Thank you for today's link to Equine Insanity. Katariina is correct: It would be so much simpler if we LISTENED more -- to our friends, our trainers, our own inner voices, and most important, to our HORSES.

I believe things happen for a reason. The reason may not be evident for many years, but eventually we put the pieces together and voila! Like Sarah in the link, things become much more clear.

    Thank you again, Kate.

  4. Thanks for a link to an excellent post.

Sometimes I suffer from the "if you have horses you must ride them" guilt myself. Nice to read another perspective that allows me to stay on the ground when I want to.

  5. I agree with all the comments so far. Thanks for sharing.

  6. Kate-

Thanks so much for linking to this thoughtful post. Profound :)

  7. Great link, the post really struck a chord.

  8. What a great link to a lesson we can all take something from! Thanks for sharing and caring!
