Slow is Fast, Fast is Slow

Okay, it's time for a little Zen - a little Zen-like thing for you to consider:
Slow is fast.
Fast is slow.
How does this relate to your life with horses? Your work with your horses? Your life as a whole?

  1. Suits perfectly. It is rare that a job done too quickly is one well done especially when it comes to training a horse. Better to take small steps over time than try to get it all at once.

  2. I understand this sentiment, I do use it with my horses all the time, however, my work life is full tilt!

  3. You can't rush your relationship with your horse or with training. Slow will get you the best results quickly. Indeed, I think they are good words to live by.

  4. I love this saying! I could talk on it all day. It took me a long time to learn but I have figured out that going slowly with horses and cattle really is faster. I think it annoys my hubby cause I am always moving slow around them even when in a hurry and hes always surprised when its quicker.
