Won't Be Posting Here

Just a head's up that I won't be posting over here about my horses - all news about them, and news about Mark Rashid clinics, will be over on the Oak Tree.  I will, however, update the EPM/Lyme page over here.

New Case of EPM

For those of you who are interested in issues of horse health, there's a new post up on my other blog
about our latest case of EPM.  I'll also link to it on the EPM page on this blog.

New Blog Has a Title

The new blog has a title now - I've been wrestling with that for a while and finally settled on something that has a lot of meaning for me.  So, soon, I'll start posting over there.  The link is:

On Second Thought . . .

On second thought, I think I'll keep this blog going on an occasional basis, when there's something horse, and something only a horseperson would care about - health/medical,  specific training/horsemanship stuff.  The other blog will have horses - of course - but in terms of their individual "horseness".  Think that'll work, we'll see.  I've got a post coming on what I'm learning through groundwork this week.

Time for a New Blog

I've been thinking for a while that it might be time to start a new blog - one with a somewhat different emphasis.  Horses are central to my life, but there are many other aspects to my life - and even aspects my life doesn't have yet but I'd like it to have - faith and spirituality, music, reading, writing, the way I want to live in the world . . .  And of course, horses.  But it's not the training/riding, but rather the spirituality, if you like, of horses that matters most to me - the interactions we as humans have with the spirit, the soul, of each horse.  And how all those parts of life tie (or could tie) together . . .

The new blog will be up soon, and I'll post a link on here for anyone who'd like to come on over there to read my musings, and talk about them.  This blog will stay up as a reference/historical record.

Stay tuned . . .
